Stern Maths Kit 1

Uses multi-sensory materials in a structured method to teach mathematical concepts. Requires $50 bond and can be borrowed for 1 term/10 weeks.

Stern's Structural Arithmetic uses multi-sensory materials in a structured method to teach mathematical concepts. Children achieve mastery of arithmetic without being forced to learn only by memorisation. These cleverly designed materials enable children to learn on their own through experience and discovery. This apparatus not only stimulates such activities but also presents concepts so clearly and vividly that children can visualise them later on. Catherine Stern's insight into the child's psychological development sits at the heart of this teaching.

NB: The library resources are available for ADSA library members to borrow. Unfortunately we do not sell direct to the general public.
