This book presents an overview of what is understood about numeracy development for people with Down syndrome. It covers learning about number and mathematics, influences on progress of typically developing children, what do we know about number skills of children with Down syndrome, implications of research reviewed for teaching and learning, examples of pupils' teaching, learning and achievements in the classroom.
