Survival Signing Course for Teachers

This booklet has been developed to help teachers along with the child with Down syndrome to learn appropriate vocabulary for school through basic sentences and songs.

This is a publication produced by the Down Syndrome Society of South Australia Inc in 2000. It has been written to assist school personnel in learning to sign. It contains six stages of vocabulary, signs, sentences and songs for individual or group practice. Each stage includes a list of words, photocopied signs of each word, three sentences to introduce each new word, sentences for revision, and a song along with key word signs.

NB: The library resources are available for ADSA library members to borrow. Unfortunately we do not sell direct to the general public.
