Born to Succeed - A True Story

This human interest story is written to give hope and encouragement to parents who have children with Down syndrome.

Edna Fitzgerald, a mother of five tells the story of her daughter Kelly's life. Thirty years ago Edna's knowledge of Down syndrome was extremely limited. Kelly is now leading a full, productive and independent life, continuing to achieve her dreams and goals. Naturally, this gives Edna a sense of pride and humility, her message to parents of children with disabilities is "Never give up".

NB: The library resources are available for ADSA library members to borrow. Unfortunately we do not sell direct to the general public.
