Community Liaison Officer
Christel van Baalen
Christel van Baalen is the community liaison officer for the Auckland Down Syndrome Association. She has been involved with the Association since 2002 firstly as a committee member, newsletter editor and then president.  Christel has been the community liaison officer since 2007. She is also involved with the organisation of Buddy Walk.
 
Christel lives in Papakura with her partner of 20 years, Anthony, and their 2 daughters, Alex (15) and Renee (11). Renee has Down syndrome. Christel is originally from The Netherlands but has been living in New Zealand since 1991.		 Christel

 

Librarian
Diana Court
Diana Court has been employed by ADSA since December 2010 as the librarian. Diana manages the resource library and is a member of the library sub-committee as well as being actively involved in the organisation of Buddy Walk. If you have questions about the library resources or would like further information then Diana is the person to speak to. Diana is a mum of three including Louis (5) who has Down syndrome.
